OUR MISSION & VISION

We strongly rely on the ministry of the Holy Spirit and remain open to His leading, which is always consistent with Scripture. We also find great importance in the exposition of the Scriptures and the teaching of the entirety of the Bible.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

At the core of our beliefs is the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We believe in the authority of the Bible as God’s inspired Word and seek to live according to its teachings.

We believe:

· The Bible is the only authoritative, inerrant, and inspired Word of God.
2 Timothy 3:16 & 2 Peter 1:21

· There is One God who eternally exists in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit.

Matthew 28:19-20, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, John 3:16 & 4:24, Acts 1:8, & Romans 8:26

· Jesus, the Son of God, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died a sacrificial death for the sins of the world, rose bodily from the dead,
ascended into heaven, and is coming again to judge the living and the dead and to establish God’s kingdom on earth.

Isaiah 7:14, Luke 1:34-35, & Revelation 1:8

· Man is inherently sinful and incapable of meriting God’s favor.

Romans 5:12-13, & Acts 3:19

· The baptism of the Holy Spirit follows salvation.

Romans 6:3-4 & Matthew 28:19

· Salvation is by grace, through faith alone, in the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross.

Romans 10:9-10 & Hebrews 7:25

· God is sovereign and man has freewill.
1 Peter 1:4, Galatians 5:16-17, & Mark 8:34

· The Church exists to worship God, edify itself in love, and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost world.

1 Corinthians 12:12–13 & Ephesians 4:15-16

· The book of Acts and the New Testament provide the abiding principles for the Church to function.
